  • Privacy Statement – The Job Hunter

    The Job Hunter, located at Looiersgracht 104, 1016VT Amsterdam, is responsible for the processing of personal data as set out in this privacy statement.

    Personal data we process

    The Job Hunter processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide these data to us yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

    • First and last name

    • Email address

    • Other personal data that the customer actively provides (for example, by creating a profile on this website, in correspondence, or by telephone).

    Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

    Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are under 16 years of age, unless they have permission from parents or a guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without that consent, please contact us at thejobhunt3r@gmail.com and we will delete this information.

    For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data

    The Job Hunter processes your personal data for the following purposes:

    • Processing your payment.

    • To be able to call or email you if necessary to perform our services.

    • To inform you about changes to our services and products.

    • To deliver goods and services to you.

    Automated decision-making

    The Job Hunter does not take decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for individuals. These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems without human intervention (for example, an employee of The Job Hunter).

    How long we store personal data

    The Job Hunter does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data are collected. We apply the following retention periods:

    • Financial Administration: 7 years (Legal fiscal retention obligation under the Dutch State Taxes Act).

    • Client Records & CVs: 2 years after the end of the service relationship (To ensure continuity of coaching and for potential legal defense).

    • Contact & Correspondence: 2 years after the last contact.

    Sharing personal data with third parties

    The Job Hunter only provides data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

    Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

    The Job Hunter does not use cookies or similar techniques.

    View, modify, or delete data

    You have the right to view, correct, or delete your personal data. Additionally, you have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by The Job Hunter, and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we h1ave about you in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you.

    You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data, or a request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to thejobhunt3r@gmail.com.

    To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, please black out your photo, MRZ (machine readable zone), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks.

    The Job Hunter would also like to point out that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

    How we secure personal data

    The Job Hunter takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification.   • Terms & Conditions – The Job Hunter

    1. Applicability

    These terms and conditions apply to all offers, services (coaching clinics), and digital products provided by The Job Hunter. By booking a session or purchasing a product, you agree to these terms.

    2. Services & Duration

    The duration of a coaching session is as specified during the booking process. The Job Hunter reserves the right to conclude the session at the scheduled end time, even if the client arrived late. Any extension of a session beyond the agreed time is at the sole discretion of the coach and does not constitute a right for the client.

    3. Payment

    All services and digital products must be paid for in full at the time of booking or purchase via the provided payment methods (Stripe/PayPal).

    4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

    Clients may cancel or reschedule a session up to 12 hours before the scheduled start time. If a cancellation or request for rescheduling occurs less than 12 hours before the session, or in the event of a "no-show," the client forfeits the right to a refund or a replacement session.

    5. Refunds

    • Services: Once a coaching session has been completed, any refund is at the sole discretion of The Job Hunter.

    • Digital Products: Due to the nature of digital content, all sales of downloadable products (e.g., CV templates) are final. By purchasing, you acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal once the download has commenced.

    6. Intellectual Property

    All materials provided, including CV templates, guides, and recordings, are the intellectual property of The Job Hunter. These materials are for personal use only. Sharing, distributing, or reselling these materials without explicit written consent from The Job Hunter is strictly prohibited.

    7. Liability & Disclaimer of Results

    The Job Hunter provides professional advice and tools to the best of its ability. However, the client remains responsible for their own career decisions and actions. The Job Hunter cannot guarantee specific outcomes, such as securing a job, an interview, or a specific salary level. The Job Hunter is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the advice provided.

    Algemene Voorwaarden – The Job Hunter

    1. Toepasselijkheid

    Deze algemene voorwaarden zijn van toepassing op alle aanbiedingen, diensten (coaching clinics) en digitale producten van The Job Hunter. Door een sessie te boeken of een product aan te schaffen, gaat u akkoord met deze voorwaarden.

    2. Dienstverlening & Duur

    De duur van een coachingsessie is zoals aangegeven tijdens het boekingsproces. The Job Hunter behoudt zich het recht voor om de sessie op de geplande eindtijd te beëindigen, ook als de cliënt te laat is gekomen. Elke verlenging van een sessie buiten de afgesproken tijd is ter uitsluitende discretie van de coach en vormt geen recht voor de cliënt.

    3. Betaling

    Alle diensten en digitale producten dienen volledig te worden betaald op het moment van boeking of aankoop via de aangeboden betaalmethoden (Stripe/PayPal).

    4. Annulering & Verplaatsing

    Cliënten kunnen een sessie annuleren of verplaatsen tot uiterlijk 12 uur voor de geplande starttijd. Bij annulering of een verzoek tot verplaatsing binnen 12 uur voor aanvang, of in het geval van een "no-show", vervalt het recht op restitutie of een vervangende sessie.

    5. Restitutie

    • Diensten: Zodra een coachingsessie is voltooid, is eventuele restitutie ter uitsluitende discretie van The Job Hunter.

    • Digitale Producten: Vanwege de aard van digitale inhoud zijn alle verkopen van downloadbare producten (bijv. CV-templates) definitief. Bij aankoop erkent u dat u afstand doet van uw herroepingsrecht zodra het downloaden is begonnen.

    6. Intellectueel Eigendom

    Alle verstrekte materialen, inclusief CV-templates, gidsen en opnames, zijn het intellectueel eigendom van The Job Hunter. Deze materialen zijn uitsluitend voor persoonlijk gebruik. Het delen, verspreiden of doorverkopen van deze materialen zonder uitdrukkelijke schriftelijke toestemming van The Job Hunter is ten strengste verboden.

    7. Aansprakelijkheid & Disclaimer van Resultaten

    The Job Hunter verstrekt professioneel advies naar beste inzicht en vermogen. De cliënt blijft echter zelf verantwoordelijk voor diens eigen loopbaankeuzes en acties. The Job Hunter kan geen specifieke resultaten garanderen, zoals het verkrijgen van een baan, een sollicitatiegesprek of een specifiek salarisniveau. The Job Hunter is niet aansprakelijk voor directe of indirecte schade voortvloeiend uit het gegeven advies.
